A Halloween themed wedding that is hard to beat!
Most people, if they have a themed wedding, do choose what ever is available in the line of stationery, cake, catering etc for their wedding.
However, Misaki (Revecca) Fujiwara and her fiancé Ryan Montgomery went above and beyond and we think created a truly spectacular reception that would be hard to beat for realism.
Revecca and Ryan have a love of the movies, The Corpse Bride, Nightmare on Elm Street and the Saw franchise.
Ryan is an Assistant Hotel Manager and Revecca is a Pastry Chef and qualified Mortician. Revecca is the last person to deal with the deceased and ensures they look their best for their loved ones. This is such a meticulous profession and we feel that anyone would be in wonderful hands with the obvious detail that Revecca achieves.
The photographs of their reception are worthy of any movie, BUT be warned, they are that realistic they may scare you.
Revecca looked wonderful in a Gothic themed silver dress with a 10 metre train and completed with elbow-length black gloves. Ryan looked dapper in a beautiful silver suit which complimented Revecca’s gown perfectly.
Once officially married the couple changed into their attire ready for the reception.
Guests got into the spirit of the theme and were dressed accordingly.
Revecca and Ryan made their entrance into the reception with a zombie crew and entered to the music of Michael Jacksons Thriller.
‘I always knew it was going be something different. Weddings are normally for the bride and groom but we wanted people to really enjoy the atmosphere and wanted them to have a bit of fun,’ said Revecca.
‘My partner and I always had an interest in horror films and that was a common thing for us.’
The detail of the stationery and even the glasses was perfect for a Halloween or Gothic themed wedding.
The scattering of skeletons and black spider webs and fake blood throughout the reception added the finishing touches.
The cake is simply beautiful and very well detailed.
One thing we can be sure of is that when their family go trick and treating at Halloween they are sure to come home with a truck load of treats.
Well done to you both and thank you for allowing us to share your wedding and reception, we appreciate it and wish you all the happiness and love for your future.
