Growing up in her Mother’s dressmaking business in London, gave Ann Christou the love of fabrics and good design. Ann nurtured her passion by attending the London College of Fashion.

Starting Rapsimo in the late seventies, in Adelaide and later a second Bridal Boutique in Sydney, the label has won numerous awards.

Today, she embraces her client’s desires, channeling them through a whirlwind of creativity and turning them into unforgettable memories.

Her Haute Couture creations have a poetic feel and blend everlasting elegance with modernity and innovation.

The finest lace, the purest silks and the highest craftsmanship make every one of her gowns a precious work of art, brought to life with the passion and the utmost respect of fine tailoring.

Rapsimo has extended their service to include a few European labels that are superb creations, to complement Ann’s own collection perfectly.

These designs are available for purchase, with an alterations service through our own workroom.
